2008 Bio-Entrepreneur School announced

The UK’s second Bio-Entrepreneur School will run from 26th to 28th February 2008. BioCity Nottingham will host the event which was held for the first time in 2007 to wide industry acclaim. 30 fully-funded places are available on this three-day intensive programme for bio-scientists and technologists who want to develop their entrepreneurial career. more

Well Connected

Molecular biologist Dr John Okyere has made steady progress in his Nottingham-based bioscience business since incorporating CrossGen Ltd in 2005 and securing funding through the DTI Investigating an Innovative Idea grant programme. He gained a further boost from attending the first UK Bio-Entrepreneur School in February of this year.

Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) signs-up to support 2008 Bio-Entrepreneur School
